Hubballi: Dr. Gopal Krishna B, an IAS officer who previously served as Assistant Commissioner, Dharwad Sub Division, has been appointed as the Commissioner of Hubballi Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC).
He is a 2018 batch IAS officer, and he may take charge today or tomorrow. KAS officer Ashok Teli took charge as Assistant Commissioner of Dharwad Sub Division. An engineering graduate, Teli, assumed office on Thursday.
Teli worked as a probationer in Chikkaballapur, Jamkhandi Taluk Panchayat EO, as AC of Belagavi subdivision, SLAO National Highway Dharwad, and AC of Savanur.
