Hubballi: Indigo airlines will start a new direct flight between Hubballi and Hyderabad from April 27, informed Union Minister Pralhad Joshi.
Earlier, Alliance Air operated a flight between these two destinations. Following the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions on air passengers, they stopped operating flights. There was a huge demand for this route from Hubballi.
Joshi said he spoke to Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Indigo for a direct flight to Hyderabad from Hubballi. Finally, on Wednesday, it was confirmed that a new flight will connect both cities from the next financial year.
