Dharwad: The traffic police have filed cases against 13 two-wheeler riders found using bikes with faulty silencers. A team of police, led by the Inspector, intercepted these riders on various roads on Tuesday morning.
The police not only registered cases but also replaced the faulty silencers with authentic ones from the respective bike companies. They have emphasized that their campaign against this issue will continue in the upcoming days as well. Riders were urged not to install such silencers. Those who have already installed them are advised to promptly remove them to evade potential legal repercussions.
