Dharwad Town police arrests an accused recovers seven motorbikes, a car and seven cellphones

Dharwad: The Dharwad Town police recently detained a man on suspicion of stealing motorcycles and seized seven motorcycles, a sedan car, and seven cellphones from his possession.

The accused is Muzamil Riyaz Khaji, 26, of Aaroodha Nagar 3rd Cross in the Anand Nagar of Old Hubballi.

The accused was nabbed at the Vanita Seva Samaj ground by a police team led by Town Police Station Inspector Sangamesh Didaginal. The police solved one case at the Sub Urban police station in Dharwad, two cases at the Old Hubballi police station, and one case each at Kittur Police Station, Belagavi Market Yard Police Station, and Savadatti police station with the arrest of the accused.

The Commissioner of Police, Labhu Ram, praised the efforts of the police squad led by Inspector Didaginal and ACP Anusha G.

The police team included LK Kodbal PSI (crime), PB Kale ASI, staff, GG Chikkamath, KA Koppal, VP Killedar, RS Kirijantanavar, MS Sirigeri, UN Sanninanganavar, Laxman Lamani, and Mounesh Kadkol, according to the police sources.
