Dharwad’s Superintendent of Police, Lokesh Jagalasar, has been transferred. In his place, Dr. Gopal M Byakod, who was previously the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime and Traffic) in the Hubballi Dharwad Police Commissionerate, will take over.
Jagalasar’s new role will be as the Director of the Karnataka Police Academy in Mysuru. Additionally, there has been a transfer in Yadgir as well, with SP CB Vedamurthy being replaced by G Sangeetha.
