Dharwad: Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Mines and Coal Pralhad Joshi, and Union Minister of state for culture Arjun Ram Meghwal will perform the land-breaking ceremony of Lalit Kala Academy’s regional centre in Dharwad on February 20.
The administration has identified one acre, 14 guntas, for the regional center located at Scouts and Guides Ground near Court Circle.
On Tuesday, Mayor Iresh Anchatgeri, had a preliminary meeting with the officials: Union Minister Pralhad Joshi’s Additional Secretary Muralidhar Malagi, Mohan Besmir, BJP city district president Sanjay Kapatakar, and Standing Committee Chairman Vijayananda Shetty. Suresh Bedare, Sunil More, Kumar Bekkeri, Srinivasa Sastri, and the convener of Lalitha Kala Academy were present.
