Hubballi: In the last 48 hours, the district has received 23.5 mm of rain and the same weather is likely to continue for the next two-three days, said Dr RH Patil, head of the Agromet department, GKMS Unit, UAS Dharwad.

Heavy rainfall warning: Indian Meteorological Department has stated that heavy rain is likely to occur at a few places with isolated very heavy falls over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places over Bidar and Kalaburgi districts of North Interior Karnataka and over Chikkamagaluru and Kodagu districts of South Interior Karnataka. Heavy rain is also likely to occur at isolated places over Vijayapura, Belagavi, Yadgiri, and Bagalkote districts of North Interior Karnataka and over Hassan and Shivamogga districts of South Interior Karnataka.
