The Dharwad district administration has launched a war room to assist COVID-infected individuals and their families during this third wave of the pandemic.
If COVID-infected patients express a willingness to get treatment at the hospital, the COVID war room staff would help them, said Dharwad Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil.
He said the Deshpande Foundation has launched a round-the-clock helpline where the staff work in three shifts to help the patients. The administration has reserved 3,235 beds in both private and government hospitals for the treatment of the patients.
