Dharwad DC convince families to take vaccines

Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil visited the houses of those who had not taken Covid vaccine doses in the Banatikatta area and persuaded them to get the vaccine.  People responded to his plea.

An elderly woman was hesitant to receive the vaccine, but the DC encouraged her to do so, and she and her other family members received the Covid vaccine as well.

Nitesh Patil and his team of officers went door to door, knocking on the doors of people who had not yet been vaccinated.

The DC sought the support of religious leaders to encourage those who have been hesitant to be vaccinated due to fear or misinformation. He claimed that in a few areas, health professionals are having difficulty inoculating people and that in a few cases, health personnel has been intimidated by the public.

DC established six teams of officials on Sunday evening to visit the homes of those who had not yet been vaccinated. The ZP CEO, HDMC Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner, and Special DC of HDMC each led a team of health care workers to urge immunization in areas with low vaccine coverage.
