Hubballi: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said Raitha Shakti, a scheme announced in the 2022-23 state budget was launched today. This scheme is regarding giving the subsidy to farmers on the use of diesel for various agricultural equipment. It will benefit lakhs of farmers across the State.

He was speaking to reporters at the airport here on Tuesday, when asked about the chief minister of Goa being unhappy over the Mahadayi judgment, Bommai said that as per directions of the Supreme Court, a tribunal was constituted and after ten years of examining this project from various angles, the tribunal gave its verdict which was gazette notified by Government of India in 2017. Now, the Detailed Project Report has been okayed and the project is being implemented stage by stage. This action had been taken after a protracted legal battle.
