Dharwad: A man attacked a lady with a hammer in broad daylight in Dharwad for asking him to repay the money she lent. The incident happened in Dharwad’s Suburban police station limits on Thursday. The sources said the lady who suffered severe injuries has been shifted to KIMS for advanced treatment.
The accused has been identified as Iqbal, and the lady is a resident of Azad Nagar, and sources said that Iqbal had borrowed money from her, but after borrowing money, Iqbal failed to return the money, and he was avoiding her. The lady asked Iqbal to repay the money for this. He attacked her with a hammer.
The accused has been secured, and a case has been registered by the Sub Urban Police.
To recall, just two days ago, Vaastu expert Chandrashekhar Guruji was brutally murdered, and the accused repeatedly stabbed the victim which led to his death on the spot.
