Devotional songs played over loudspeakers in Hubballi.

Hubballi: Sri Rama Sene’s campaign against loud speakers installed on mosques began in Hubballi on Monday morning. Sene had announced the launching of this campaign as the government failed to take action against loudspeakers installed on mosques.

In response to Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Mutalik’s call that his activists play devotional songs, mantras, and Hanuman Chalisa in around 1,000 temples in Karnataka from May 9, activists in Hubballi also played devotional songs over loudspeakers.

The activists of Sene played devotional songs on loudspeakers at the Diddi Hanuman temple. They also conducted an early morning bhajan.

The city unit of the Sene, in a press release, has requested all temples in the city to play devotional songs, Hanuman Chalisa or Mantras, between 5 am and 6 am everyday from today.
