According to reports, the state government has ordered a departmental inquiry into IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri and IPS officer D. Roopa’s public spat.
According to reports, Chief Secretary Vandita Sharma will start the probe on the directives of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
The state government has taken the public spat between two senior officers seriously, despite warnings from the Chief Minister and state Home Minister, Araga Jnanendra. According to the sources, Roopa will be investigated for making a public comment and uploading private images on social media.
D Roopa levelled many allegations against IAS officer Sindhuri, including building a swimming pool at her official residence as Mysuru DC. The official residence was a heritage building, and D Roopa alleged that Rohini had violated service rules.
Both officers had petitioned against each other before Chief Secretary Vandita Sharma.
