Davangere: In a deeply saddening event, two college students from Davangere allegedly died by suicide after a video of their private moments went viral on social media.
According to reports, the girl took her own life on Friday afternoon, soon after the video had spread across social media platforms. In an equally tragic turn of events, the boy also ended his life on the same night. The video capturing their private moment was secretly recorded by individuals from an opposite building using their mobile phones, and it was later shared widely on social media.
According to the sources, parents of the both students have registered separate cases and investigation is underway.
