Bengaluru: CT Ravi, who was removed from his position as the national general secretary in the recent BJP reshuffle, is scheduled to fly to Delhi today. During his visit to the national capital, he plans to meet with the party’s national president, JP Nadda, on Tuesday.
According to party sources, CT Ravi will depart from Chikkamagaluru and first reach Bengaluru before boarding a flight to Delhi. His removal from the national general secretary role and subsequent trip to meet Nadda has sparked speculation about the possibility of him being appointed as the chief of the party’s State unit.
This speculation is further fueled by his previous meeting with former Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa, which came after a period of tension between the two. Observers see this meeting as a potential “signal” that CT Ravi could be in contention for the top party position in the State.
