Hubballi: A high school student of GV Joshi Rotary School in Adarsh Nagar has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus following the student’s sister, who is studying MBBS at SDM Medical College, testing positive.
According to Hubballi Urban Tahsildar Shashidhar Madyal, the health department staff will conduct COVID tests on 40 students who are the student’s classmates tomorrow.
According to an education department official, 36 staff members, including teachers from the school, have already given their swabs for COVID testing. The parents of the students in that class would undergo a test tomorrow (Thursday), said the officials.
