COVID-19 restrictions on New Year’s Eve in Karnataka

Belagavi: COVID-19 restrictions would be in effect in the state and in Bengaluru on New Year’s Eve, according to Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.

Speaking to reporters in Belagavi, he stated that large gatherings and DJ parties will be banned in the state on New Year’s Eve.

Bars, bars, and restaurants can run at half capacity.   He stated that gatherings in apartments will be prohibited throughout the state, not just in Bengaluru.

He stated that employees at restaurants and nightclubs should be vaccinated and have a negative RT-PCR test result. Christmas celebrations will be permitted in churches throughout the state this week, according to CM, by following COVID-19 regulations.
