India’s nationwide COVID-19 vaccination drive continues to make significant progress, with over 220.65 crore doses of vaccines administered so far. Of these, 95.20 crore are second doses, while 22.86 crore are precautionary doses.
The country has administered 9,497 doses in the last 24 hours. In addition, India’s active caseload currently stands at 8,601, which is just 0.02% of the country’s population.
The country’s recovery rate is currently at an impressive 98.79%, with 910 recoveries reported in the last 24 hours. The total number of recoveries now stands at 4,41,62,832.
The number of new COVID cases recorded in the last 24 hours stands at 1,590, with a daily positivity rate of 1.33%. The weekly positivity rate is even lower, at 1.23%.
The country has conducted an impressive 92.08 crore COVID tests so far, with 1,19,560 tests conducted in the last 24 hours.
