Hubballi: The Congress party continued its ‘100 Not Out’ protest in the city on Sunday.

The Congress party workers staged the protest against the fuel price hike and highlighting the soaring rates of petrol and diesel. In many cities and towns in the state, the petrol price has crossed Rs 100 per liter mark.

The party workers staged a protest under the leadership of senior Congress leader B K Hariprasad in the Hubballi Central Assembly constituency.

They raised slogans against the Union Government for the spiraling rate of fuel. They charged that the Modi government came to power by promising Acche Din, but the people are suffering due to inflation.

Congress leaders Rajat Ullagaddimath, Abdul Ganivali Ahemad, Shakir Sanadi, Satish Meharwade, Rajshekhar Mensinkai, Bangaresh Hiremath and others were present.
