Bengaluru: The Congress in Karnataka guaranteed a housewife in every family Rs 2,000 per month if elected, said party leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra at a convention here on Monday.
This is the promise offered to every woman in Karnataka by the AICC general secretary, it was declared during the “Na Nayaki” event organised by the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KP CC) at the Palace Grounds here.
According to the KPCC, the ‘Gruha Laxmi’ initiative will help 1.5 million housewives.
