Bengaluru: The Congress leaders attended the Vidhana Soudha budget day wearing flowers in their ears. The one-of-a-kind protest was staged to condemn the Bommai administration for breaking promises and deceiving the people of Karnataka.
Congress leaders argued that they deceived the people by failing to follow through on promises made in the previous budget and the 2018 platform.
The Double Engine Government has failed.
DK Shivakumar told reporters that the budget had nothing to offer the people of Karnataka. They have failed to deliver on their promises. They are putting flowers in the people’s ears by failing to keep their promises.
