Hubballi: To contain the spreading of novel Coronavirus infection in the district, Dharwad deputy commissioner Nitesh Patil has ordered for complete lockdown in the district from May 22, 6 am to May 24, 6 am.
In an order, the DC told that on May 22 and May 23 all business establishments will remain closed. The public will be allowed to buy fruits, vegetables, and milk between 6 am and 8 am on these days, the order said.
Strict action would be taken against those ventures outside unnecessarily. Those having medical emergencies are exempted from the rules. Government vehicles and those are on Covid duty can attend their works, said the order.
