Hubballi: Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil on Wednesday visited Chaitra Saunshi’s house in Yarguppi village, where he spoke to her family members. Chaitra is an MBBS student stuck in war-affected Ukraine.
DC. Patil said that the government is making all its efforts to bring back Indian nationals stuck in that country. He also spoke with Chaitra over the phone and asked her to remain calm. He said, “You are speaking with a smile on your face, so come home with that smile.” He said all the best to her and also informed her that the government of India was making all the best possible efforts to evacuate all the Indian nationals.
He also visited Nazilla Ghazipur’s house in Bengeri ‘s Kale Layout. The DC filled her parents’ confidence and asked them not to worry as efforts are going on to bring all the stranded Indians back to India.
