On Friday evening, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai paid a visit to Puneeth Rajkumar’s wife Ashwini at the late actor’s Bengaluru home.
The Chief Minister stated that all efforts will be made to recommend Puneeth Rajkumar for the Padma Shri Award. Dr Rajkumar’s family is still grieving the actor’s death. He stated that a discussion in this respect will take place after November 16.
The CM and his ministers visited with the wife of the late actor. Raghvendra Rajkumar, Puneeth’s brother, was present, as were Ministers R Ashoka, Dr CN Ashwath Narayan, Chinnegowda, SA Govindraj, and others.
