Belagavi: Former Deputy Chief Minister and Athani MLA Laxman Savadi had a narrow escape on Monday after his vehicle was involved in an accident near Daroor village in Athani taluk.
According to multiple reports, Savadi’s Land Rover Defender collided with a pickup van while he was en route to Bengaluru from Athani. Fortunately, the senior leader sustained no injuries in the incident. Authorities are expected to look into the cause of the accident.
