City in Shock: Miscreants Open Fire in Vijayapura, Victim Escapes With Injury

Vijayapura: Miscreants opened fire at a person in Bendiger Oni in Vijayapura city on Friday evening. The incident has shocked the city. Sources say that the victim, Shoaib, luckily escaped in the fire incident, as the bullet fired at him just passed, touching one of his ears.

It is said that Shoaib was riding a bike with his friend when unidentified miscreants, who came on a bike, opened fire, targeting Shoaib. After opening fire, the miscreants fled the scene, leaving the bike behind.

The Superintendent of Police and other senior police officers visited the spot. The SP mentioned that he visited the scene and the police found three bikes at the spot, with one possibly belonging to the victim. He stated that they are in the process of registering an FIR, but the investigation has already begun.

He also refused to reveal how many rounds were fired at the victim and the reason for the attack. He mentioned that he would share more details with the media as the investigation progresses. Sources suggest that an old grudge could be the reason for this incident. Golgumbaz police have registered a case in this regard.
