Chief Minister Bommai asks DCs to review the Covid vaccination drive’s progress every day.

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has asked all the deputy commissioners to intensify the Covid vaccination drive, especially to increase the second dose’s average in the state. He interacted with the deputy commissioners via video conference in this regard.

The CM has instructed DCs that by the end of December, 70 percent of the population should be vaccinated with two doses of the Covid vaccine. He further instructed the DCs to form teams and that they should visit villages and persuade the people who did not take the vaccine.

Devote 1 hour every day.

Bommai has also asked DCs to spend at least one hour every day chalking out plans regarding intensifying the drive. He said Kalaburgi is in the last position in terms of vaccinating the people, and the Bengaluru city district is in the first place.
