Dharwad: Nadoja Chennaveer Kanavi, who passed away this morning, will be laid to rest with police honours. His final rites will be conducted at his farmhouse near Kelgeri in Dharwad.
His mortal remains will be kept at KCD premises for public homage at around 3 pm. His mortal remains were brought to his house in Kalyan Nagar around 12 pm, said the district administration.
He was admitted to SDM Hospital after complaining of breathing issues. He tested positive for COVID during the course of treatment. He recovered from the infection but he continued to ail due to age-related issues.
