Hubballi: Government Tooling and Training Center (GTTC) and Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd. have joined hands to offer vocational training programs for Vehicle Assembly fitters, Automobile welders, and Toolroom Machinists. Applications are now open for SSLC-passed candidates interested in these training courses. The programs span over a period of 1+2 years.
The vocational training programs offered in Vehicle Assembly Fitter, Automobile Welder, and Toolroom Machinist span over a duration of three years. The initial year of training will take place at the GTTC Centre. For the subsequent two years, selected candidates will receive on-the-job training at a Toyota car manufacturing company located in Bangalore. During this period, trainees will be provided with a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000.
Upon successful completion of the three-year training program, candidates will have the opportunity to secure employment within the Toyota group. It is worth mentioning that 40 students who underwent the same training last year are currently undergoing on-the-job training at Toyota. These skilled technicians possess numerous job prospects within the automobile industry.
Young individuals aged between 17 to 22 years, who have successfully cleared their SSLC examinations, are eligible for this training program. The deadline for admissions is May 31st, and the training sessions will commence on June 1st. Interested candidates can secure admission by visiting GTTC, located at Industrial Estate, Gokul Road, Hubballi. It is necessary to bring along educational and address proof documents for the admission process.
