The meeting between Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and Union Minister Home Minister has concluded in Delhi.
Yediyurappa told reporters after meeting Shah that it was a cordial meeting. Shah emphasised the need of building the party in Karnataka and requested that the party’s roots be strengthened.
He added that Mr. Shah also stated that the BJP has a bright future in the state and directed us to develop the party in the state so that the upcoming Assembly elections could be easily won.
Yediyurappa further stated that Shah assured the party’s high command with him and focus on the good work they are doing in the state. He said reporters that the party high-command has not asked him to resign to his post and there is no truth in it.
