Hubballi: The enthusiasm of the people in Dharwad district is evident in the brisk polling across all seven constituencies.
As of 1 PM, Dharwad constituency has taken the lead with a polling percentage of 38.61%, as former minister and Congress candidate Vinay Kulkarni and BJP candidate Amrut Desai compete in a high voltage fight. Hubballi-Dharwad (West) constituency has also witnessed good polling since the beginning, with 35.74% voting reported by 1 PM.
Kundagol and Kalaghatagi constituencies have reported 35.28% and 33% respectively. Navalgund, which lagged in the initial hours of polling, has picked up pace and reported 35.08% voting. Hubballi-Dharwad (Central) and Hubballi Dharwad (East) constituencies have reported 34.68% and 32% polling respectively. As of 1 PM, the average polling percentage in the district stands at 35.06%.
