Borders Fortified: Haryana Implements Unprecedented Concrete Block Seal Ahead of Farmers ‘Delhi Chalo’ March”
Farmers are gearing up for the ‘Delhi Chalo’ march on February 13, prompting authorities to seal Punjab-Haryana borders in Ambala, Jind, and Fatehabad districts.
The Haryana Police issued a traffic advisory, urging commuters to restrict travel on main roads due to potential disruptions. The state government suspended mobile internet services and bulk SMS in seven districts.
The farmers’ march, organized by 200 unions, seeks to pressure the Centre on demands, including a minimum support price for crops. Road closures and barricades at the Shambhu border, along with changes in traffic routes, aim to minimize disruptions. The public is advised to travel to Punjab only for urgent matters during this period.
