Udupi: Tragedy struck in Brahmavar town of Udupi district in Karnataka as a boat capsized in the Honnala river, claiming the lives of three youths and leaving one missing.
Ibaz, Fazan, and Sufan were identified as the deceased, while Farhan remains unaccounted for. The group had been visiting their relatives in Hoode to observe the holy month of Ramzan and had taken a boat out for a fishing trip on Sunday evening. However, they were swept away by the river’s high tide and failed to return. The authorities have launched a search operation to locate the missing person.
