DK Shivakumar, President of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee, lashed out at former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, accusing him of failing to offer decent administration.
DK Shivakumar told reporters that state BJP leaders lack the courage to speak in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and that all 25 BJP Members of Parliament had failed to address the state’s current flood crisis.
“The state is experiencing a flood scenario for the third year in a row, but Modi did not visit flood-affected districts the previous two years and would not come this year also,” he added.
He stated that a Belagavi division level party meeting will take place tomorrow at Gokul Garden.
“ The meeting’s goal is to build the party in this region. Prior to the meeting, he stated that JD (S) leader Madhu Bangarappa will join the party in the presence of party officials, including the Karnataka Congress in charge of Randeep Singh Surjewala. The flood situation, according to the KPCC president, will also be discussed during the meeting. All of the districts in this region’s office bearers will submit a ground report on the flood situation. The party will decide how to effectively assist the individuals in need based on the report. And strategies for putting pressure on the government to work efficiently to fix the crisis,” he said.
