Kundagol: During a campaign rally for BJP candidate MR Patil in Kundagol, BJP MLA and star campaigner Basavaraj Patil Yatnal focused heavily on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his accomplishments, speaking about issues such as India-Pakistan relations, the abrogation of Article 370, and the success of union government programs like Ayushman Bharat, Har Ghar Jal, and others.
While he briefly mentioned the state government’s decision on the reservation, he did not touch on local issues like unemployment, inflation, and corruption, which the Congress party has accused the BJP of ignoring in their campaign.
Yatnal’s speech seemed to support the Congress party’s allegations that the BJP is not fighting the assembly election on local issues. He urged voters in the Kundagol constituency to vote for the BJP candidate MR Patil.
