Hubballi: BJP’s Continuous Protest at HDMC Commissioner’s Office for Ganesha Idol Permission” Members of the BJP remain steadfast in their protest, seeking permission to install a Lord Ganesha idol at Idgah, as they continue to occupy the HDMC Commissioner’s office.
They have vowed not to vacate the premises until they receive official permission from the Commissioner.
MLAs Arvind Bellad and Mahesh Tenginkai, speaking to Hubli Express, affirmed their commitment to the protest until they receive directives from the HDMC Commissioner.
Advocate Sanjeev Badskar, in conversation with Hubli Express, explained that Anjuman e Islam had contested the HDMC’s resolution to instruct the Commissioner to grant permission for the Ganesha installation at Idgah Maidan, but the court had dismissed their application.
