BJP hits back at the Congress, saying Namo’s government has built 209 new medical colleges.

Taking a dig at the Congress party, which was alleging the BJP government had forced Indian students to study abroad and was accusing it of failing to address the issue of providing enough seats for medical aspirants, the BJP said, “In order to strengthen medical education across India, PM Narendra Modi’s government added 209 new medical colleges in just 7 years.” If Congress had built colleges at this rate, our students would not have needed to study in other countries. What stopped Congress then? “the party asked.

They posted these questions on KOO social media app, saying that in just 7 years, PM Narendra Modi’s government increased under-graduate seats by a huge 72% and post-graduate seats by 78%. This has resulted in more students getting to pursue their medical education in India. What stopped Congress from adding more seats during its rule?
