Hubballi: News coming in that BJP leadership reportedly denied party ticket to former CM Jagadish Shettar to contest from Hubballi Central Constituency. Sources said that the party has reportedly asked him to make a way for new faces but Hubli Express independently verfied this news.
Hubballi media men reached his house in Badami Nagar in Keshavapur area, as soon as the news broke to get clarity, but domestic helps told media persons thatShettar left for Bengaluru in the afternoon.
It is said that BJP is mulling to field new face from the Hubballi dharwad Central Constituency. Dr Mahesh Nalwad, BJP general secretary Mahesh Tenginkai both are strong aspirants to contest from this seat.
