New Delhi, 08 May (HS): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has accused the Congress of promoting the agenda of the ‘Tukde Tukde’ gang.
Senior BJP leader and Minister Bhupendra Yadav said on Monday that Congress leader Sonia Gandhi has given a controversial statement regarding India’s sovereignty and integrity. This shows that Congress does not have a vision for the development of Karnataka.
Yadav said that a delegation of the BJP met the Election Commission on Monday and apprised them of the statement given by Gandhi and demanded action. “We hope that the Election Commission will take action against this anti-national act.”
Along with Yadav, BJP’s media in-charge Anil Baluni and party leader Tarun Chugh have complained against Gandhi. The BJP alleges that Sonia Gandhi in her statement talked about the sovereignty of Karnataka. While sovereignty rests with the nation. Congress considers Karnataka as ‘different’ from the nation. In this case, action should be taken against them.
