Bengaluru: The Bengaluru police have arrested four accused for allegedly gang-raping a lady in a moving car and then abandoning her in the middle of a road.
The incident occurred on March 25, about 9.30 p.m., while the woman was with her friend at the National Games Village Complex in Koramangala. According to her allegation, she was smoking a cigarette with a friend when one of the accused complained. Within minutes, her friend was reportedly intimidated and was sent away, and the accused summoned three of his pals, who came at the scene in a car and took her into it.
The men reportedly drove around the city until 3.30 a.m. and raped the victim many times. The woman filed a report the next day, and four males were arrested on the charges of kidnapping and gang rape. They have been identified as Sridhar, Satish, Kiran, and Vijay all of whom are between the ages of 23 and 24.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (South-East) C K Baba, the woman is presently being treated at a hospital and has been traumatized by the occurrence.
