Bengaluru: A woman and her two-year-old boy were killed on Tuesday when an under-construction pillar collapsed while they were riding their bike in Bengaluru, said local sources.
According to authorities, four people were on the bike when the metro pillar collapsed, including the father, twin children (son and daughter), and the mother.
The pillar struck the mother’s chest and the son’s head, according to reports; the mother was wearing a hearing helmet. Both the father and the daughter were hurt and were taken to a local hospital.
