Belagavi: A mother allegedly died by suicide along with her two children suicide by jumping into the Navilutirtha reservoir backwaters near Vatnal village in the Savadatti police station limits.
Shashikala alias Tanuja Godi, 32, and her two children, Sudeep, 4, and Radhika, have been identified as the victims. Shashikala, a resident of Chunchanur village in Ramadurg Taluk. She was said to be fed up with her family’s problems.
The Savadatti police have launched an investigation. Prima facie, it looks like suicide, but police are investigating the case from all angles.
