
Chitradurga: Transport Minister B Sriramulu has announced that he will contest the next assembly election from one of the constituencies in the Ballari district.
He was addressing a gathering after inaugurating a bus depot in Molakalmuru town on Saturday. He said Ballari is the land that gave him birth, but Molakalmuru is his workplace. He stated that he would not forget the Molakalmuru constituency and made all genuine efforts to develop it.
Sriramulu said that there is pressure from the Ballari district people to contest elections from the district, and he would contest the next assembly election from Ballari but didn’t know from which constituency he would run.
Sriramulu is the MLA of Molakalmuru constituency, he contested the last assembly election from this segment and from Badami constituency against the then chief minister Siddaramaiah, he lost from Badami seat from a slight margin but won from this seat.
