Mysuru: The JDS may win 20 seats in the upcoming election, and former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy’s claim that they will form the next government with 120 MLAs is unrealistic, according to Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah.
Addressing a gathering at Lingadevarkoppal in the Chamundeshwari Assembly constituency, Siddaramaiah said that JDS was never able to form the government on its own strength; in 2018, it won 37 seats, and this time it would reduced to 20 seats. “They always go with the party that wins the most seats; they always practise opportunist politics,” Siddaramaiah slammed.
