Hubballi: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) sleuths nabbed an Uganda national with drugs worth Rs 1.5 crore in Karnataka on Friday.
The NCB team seized 995 grams of methamphetamine from her possession at Hubballi Railway Station. The accused was travelling to Yeshwanthpur on the Nizamuddin Express train.
According to the Narcotics Control Bureau sleuths, who were following her from New Delhi, they nabbed her when the train arrived at Hubballi Railway Station. The drug consignment was sourced from Delhi and was meant for distribution in Karnataka.
The accused Ugandan lady hid methamphetamine in two Cerelac baby food carton boxes to avoid being caught by the cops.
