Apple opened its first retail store at Jio World Drive in Bandra Kurla Complex on Tuesday, and is set to open its second flagship store in Saket, New Delhi on Thursday.
During the opening of the store, Apple CEO Tim Cook met with customers to mark the occasion. The Saket store boasts over 70 retail team members from 18 states in India, collectively speaking more than 15 languages.
The barricade for the Saket store, located in the Select Citywalk Mall, features a unique design inspired by Delhi’s many gates. However, it is worth noting that the Saket store is smaller in size than the Bandra Kurla Complex store.
