Hubballi: Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Youth Affairs, and Sports Anurag Thakur arrived in Hubballi on Thursday to take part in the inauguration ceremony of the National Youth Festival.
Officers Dr. Shalini Rajanish and senior officials from the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs greeted the minister.
The minister went to the city’s railway ground to inspect the preparations for the event, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend. Modi will kick off the 26th National Youth Festival, which will be held for the first time in North Karnataka. As per the information shared by the elected representatives, more than 50,000 youths have registered their names to witness the event at the railway ground.
