Vijayapura: Two people were burned alive in their sleep on Saturday night when a fire broke out in their hut. The incident occurred on the outskirts of Chadchan town, in the Vijayapura district.
The deceased have been identified as Karimsab Imamsab Tapal, 82, and Sajanabi Karimsab Tapal, 82. The accident happened, when a fire broke out in the chimney while they were deep sleeping, the elderly couple was killed instantly. Police arrived on the spot and launched an investigation. A police report has been received at the Chadchan police station.
