According to India Today, on Wednesday night, the plane carrying Union Home Minister Amit Shah had to make an emergency landing at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati due to bad weather.
According to the report, Shah was en route to Agartala to participate in the Rath Yatra for the Tripura assembly elections when bad weather prevented his plane from landing in Agartala. The Union Home Minister was welcomed by the chief minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, at the airport.
