Union Home Minister Amit Shah landed in Bengaluru late Thursday night for a two-day visit.
The Home Minister will pay respect to the late Sree Sree Sivakumara Swami on the occasion of his 115th birth anniversary in Siddaganga Mutt on Friday. He will also break ground for the 400-bed hospital in Sathya Sai Grama in Muddenahalli this afternoon.
Later in the evening, he will attend a programme organised by the Karnataka State Cooperation Conference at Bengaluru Palace Grounds.
Welcoming Amit Shah at HAL airport, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said, “It was an absolute pleasure to welcome Union Home and Co-Operation Minister Amit Shah Ji at the HAL Airport along with my team. Many upcoming schemes will be discussed and executed expeditiously with his mentoring.
